Project Description

NorteShopping, managed by Sonae Sierra, is one of Portugal’s most relevant shopping centers.

Sonae Sierra is an international real estate company that develops, manages, and invests in sustainable assets and provides investment, architecture& engineering and property management services for clients in geographies as diverse as Europe, South America, North Africa and Asia.

NorteShopping is located in the North of Portugal and has 229 stores. It presented a challenge not only because of its size, but also because of the complexity of its facilities.

Our Input

We were responsible for the maintenance management of the shopping center.

The work began with a survey of all existing equipment within the center and the development of a maintenance plan for each. What followed was the implementation of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

The project included the following services:

• Organization of maintenance activities;

• Quality control of maintenance activities;

• Stock management and purchasing;

• Engineering technical support;

• Support and control of works in stores;

• Reporting of maintenance activities;

• Sustainability reporting.

Key Features

The Shopping Centre has 69.648 m2 and over 4 000 maintenance units.
